Tournaments: As mentioned above, today is the final flight of the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD). Flight 1I has an early start (10:00am), to assure that those who play, will be bagged by 5:30pm (enough time to depart, and arrive at a destination to watch the Super Bowl). The flight carries the same structure as those before it, with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8. Action is scheduled to conclude after Level 14, with those that remain to bag chips, returning for Monday's Day 2.
Promotions: Beginning at 9:00am (every day of the week), $100 high hands will be awarded every (10) minutes, with rollovers applying. Because of those rollovers, we have seen the 9:00am-12:00pm period award prizes of $400...$700...even $1,000, over the past month.
The standard high hand promotion then takes over, and runs from 12:00pm-12:00am. Qualifying high hands will be awarded $300, given away every (30) minutes (no rollovers). During that period, if the winning high hand is made using one card, a $150 prize will be awarded. For those players playing in a tournament, winning high hands will be paid out $100.
From 12:00am-3:00am, $100 high hands will be awarded every (60) minutes.
