Friday, April 9th: Eric Lerner Wins Double Green Chip Bounty Outright, Setting Up An Action Packed Weekend!

ICYMI: It's not often that a daily tournament plays down to an outright winner, but we saw it happen last night, in the $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  The event attracted a total of (133) entries, all focused on grabbing a piece of the $8,465 prize pool (and winning some $50 bounties).  A total of (17) players would reach the money, with Eric Lerner (Long Island, NY) outlasting the rest.  He beat Matthew Pokorny (Las Vegas, NV) during heads-up play, earning himself $2,444 and 37.60 leaderboard points.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible "re-introduction" of the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room.  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Levels will last (20) minutes 
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
