Wednesday, September 13th: "Post-Irma" Poker Action Returns, "Spin To Win" Headlines
ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament action returned with a $60 No Limit Hold'em event that began at 6:00pm. The field was comprised of (28) total entries, and after the optional add-ons were added to the prize pool, it would officially close at $1,292. A total of four players would reach the money, and after the bubble eventually burst, action played down to an outright winner. Joseph Marchese (Coral Springs, FL) would earn the second win of his impressive tournament career, which consists of (27) recorded results, totaling over $139,000.
Tournaments: This afternoon was supposed to mark the beginning of the "September $100,000," but unfortunately, "Mother Nature" had different plans. Therefore, the schedule for the rest of the week now consists of recurring events, with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" kicking off the day's action at 11:00am. The player-favorite event is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, and levels of (20) minutes throughout the afternoon.
That tournament is followed by a $75 No Limit Hold'em event, which gets underway at 6:00pm. Players in the evening event will sit down to starting stacks of 15,000 units, playing levels that last (20) minutes over the course of the night.
- Joseph Marchese (Coral Springs, FL) $581
- Rene Garcia (Coral Gables, FL) $349
- Jean Dorvil (N. Miami, FL) $220
- Carl Rockoff (Tamarac, FL) $142
