Wednesday, February 20th: Full House Promo To Start The Day, As The Popular Survivor Returns To Afternoon Timeslot

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament action began at 11:00am, with the $150 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo event, which sported a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool.  With (24) entries at the end of registration, the guarantee would once again be surpassed, official closing at $2,688.  This particular tournament has seen a lot of deal making in the past, with yesterday's installment no different, as a six-way chop was agreed to (short of the schedule payouts).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Patti Vorbeck (Pompano Beach, FL) $856
  2. Peter Nathan (Pompano Beach, FL) $582
  3. Lana Rosenberg (Miami Beach, FL) $487
  4. Charles Jacoby (Coral Gables, FL) $271
  5. Milord Vital (Miramar, FL) $246
  6. Stanley Oremland (Weston, FL) $246
The evening time slot (6:00pm) saw the return of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster."  The fact that the event did not have a posted guarantee, didn't end up deterring players at all, as the field ended up closing with (45) entries (and an official prize pool of $4,365).  Six places were scheduled to reach the money, and after Welly Duroseau and Nabeel Youakim were eliminated (sixth and fifth respectively), a four-way chop was agreed to.  Official results from the event are listed below:
  1. Jose Delcid (Coconut Creek, FL) $1,570
  2. Angelo Petraglia (New York, NY) $923
  3. Andres Ramirez (Tamarac, FL) $729
  4. Andrew Daire (Boca Raton, FL) $532
  5. Nabeel Youakim (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $349
  6. Welly Duroseau (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $262
Tournaments: The second day back to the recurring tournament schedule sees the return (at 11:00am) of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor."  The player-favorite event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  For every one in ten entries in the tournament, a $1,000 pay spot will be awarded.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration (prior to Level 9), players have the option to add-on, with a single ($20) or double ($40) add-on.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hands, the poker opens with the Full House Promotion.  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $40 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $40.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The day's "standard" high hand period will last from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
