The first "major" event of the 2017 Isle Poker Classic is now in the books, as Event #2 ($360 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 Guarantee) ended in a six-way deal late last night. The event was a great start the series, attracting a field that would surpass the guarantee by over $75,000. Once the ICM numbers were broken down and the deal would be agreed to, Stephen Smith (Montgomery, AL) would be declared the winner, earning himself over $28,000.
Just as a deal was being made at the Event #2 final table, the remaining players at the Event #3 final table were asking to discuss a number breakdown as well. The final five players eventually agreed to a chop, with Rafael Ramos (Cape Coral, FL) being declared the winner, taking home $2,942 and the trophy. All results for events that have finished can be found posted on the righthand sidebar of the blog (above the blog archive).
