ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament slate started with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD).  The event attracted a total of (38) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $3,036.  There would be no dealing making though, which had become so common for these afternoon events.  Susan Steinberg (Hollywood, FL) won the tournament outright, cashing in her first event of 2017, ad winning her first tournament ever.

  1. Susan Steinberg (Hollywood, FL) $855
  2. Fred Alesi (Delray Beach, FL) $522

The Labor Day weekend action closed with a $130 No Limit Hold'em event, which attracted a field of (24) entries.  The $2,328 prize pool also boasted a first place prize of $1,164, but things never got that far, as a three handed deal was reached to end the event.
  1. Lawrence Smith (Jacksonville, FL) $900
  2. Juan Garaza (Pompano Beach, FL) $550
  3. Joakim Dag (Pompano Beach, FL) $350

  5. Francklin Michel (Miramar, FL) $253

Tournaments: "Tournament Tuesday" begins at 11:00am with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD), a tournament that has only grown in popularity in the recent weeks.  The "player-friendly" structure offers starting stacks of 25,000 units, with levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.

The guarantee grows for the evening tournament, as the $60 No Limit Hold'em ($8,000 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm.  The event sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 14,000 units, along with levels of (20) minutes over the course of the tournament.  There is also an optional add-on for players to decide upon at the end of registration (during the break after Level 8).

Promotions: It's all about getting to the poker room early on Tuesdays (and Thursdays), as the "Early Bird Full House" promotion offers an awarded cash prize (depending on game plated) for the first (50) full houses of the day (in live cash games).  That promotion is followed by $300 high hands every (15) minutes, from the hours of 12:00pm-4:00pm.
