Sunday, January 17th: Maddox And Channell Chop Saturday's PM Tournament, With "Monster Stack" Ready To Crush

ICYMI: Saturday night's action got underway at 6:00pm, with another $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) event.  The cat is out of the bag...there are no more secrets...these weekend tournaments are just going to crush at a consistent basis.  Last night's installment ended up attracting a total of (107) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $8,025.  A total of (14) players reached the money, with the evening's action playing down to a heads-up chop (for the second night in a row).  Official results from the event are listed below:

Tournaments: Sunday's tournament has become so popular, that it's now received it's own marketing campaign.  The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.




Promotions: One of the changes in the promotional calendar for January, was the addition of $300 high hands on Sunday.  From 11:00am to 11:00pm, players will be vying for those $300 bonus payments every (30) minutes.  Those qualifying high hands must be aces-full or better, using both hole cards (one card high hands no longer qualify).

3:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
