Monday, September 16th: New Week On The Calendar, Same Great Poker Action!!!

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule did have two events, but after the cancelation of the $130 No Limit Hold'em ($1,000 GTD) at 11:00am, only the $50 No Limit Hold'em ($1,000 GTD) with $20 rake-free re-buys would run (at 6:00pm).  Registration for the tournament closed with (21) entries in the field, and after the optional re-buys were tallied, the prize pool closed at $1,367.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, but players ended up making a five-way deal, short of the money bubble (official results listed below):
  1. Matthew Jonchuk (Cooper City, FL) $461
  2. Cathy Miller (Jupiter, FL) $337
  3. Gail Lutin (Boca Raton, FL) $220
  4. Janet Solov (Pompano Beach, FL) $190
  5. Jerrold Solov (Pompano Beach, FL) $159
Tournaments: Monday's recurring schedule begins at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that offers $50 rake-free re-buys (and a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000).  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has a registration period that stays open through Level 8.

The 6:00pm time slot hosts a $60 No Limit Hold'em tournament, which offers $40 rake-free re-buys (a $1,200 guaranteed prize pool), and is known as "Maniac Mondays."  The structure for the event sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 10,000 units, playing (15) minute levels, and registration open through Level 10.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
