Wednesday, April 4th: $275 Single-Ante Ends In Three-Way Deal, $30,000 GTD Headlines Today's Schedule

ICYMI: Yesterday's afternoon times slot (11:00am) hosted the second of three single-ante tournaments for the week.  The $275 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante event attracted a total of (104) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $25,000.  Once the payouts were posted, the remaining players learned that thirteen would reach the money, with first place scheduled to take home $7,621.  The tournament would end in a three-way deal, but before that point was reached, we saw numerous notable players record a cash in the event.  Names like Maurice Hawkins, Eric Rivkin, TJ Shulman, and Damien Simon, all secured final table scores.  With the numbers up top so high, the final three players agreed to a deal that saw each walk away with $5,061 (Marlon Ramos earned one dollar more for first place).  The official results from the tournament are listed below:

The evening tournament was an $80 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into today's $360 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($30,000 GTD).  A total of five seats were guaranteed to be awarded, and after (31) entries at registration's close, a sixth place would be awarded a cash prize.  Listed below, are the official results from the satellite:

Tournaments: Today's tournament scheduled begins with the week's third single-ante event, as action for the $360 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante ($30,000 GTD) gets underway at 11:00am.  The tournament is structured with 60,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (30) minutes.  Registration is open through Level 10 (and the break that follows), meaning players have until just before 4:30pm.  With the numbers we've seen the past two days, we could be looking at a first place prize that eclipsed the five-figure mark.  

Following the single-ante action (at 6:00pm) is a $150 No Limit Hold'em tournament, which boasts a $5,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes.  Registration his open for the first eight levels (and the break that follows), which means players have until just before 9:00am to join the action.


Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that started back on November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

11:00am - $360 No Limit Hold'em Single-Ante  ($30,000 GTD)

- Players start with 60,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (30) minutes

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 16,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Levels are (20) minutes in length
- All late registrants and re-entries will receive a full stack
