ICYMI: Just over a week after it was announced to the community, the $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) made a big splash last night. The tournament got underway at 6:00pm, and by the time registration was over (after Level 8), the tournament clock would show (96) entries. The $20,160 prize pool was more than double the posted guarantee, and with the new tournament "twist" implemented, payouts were beyond impressive. The "Final Table Finish" aspect of the event, meant that only those who reached the eight-handed final table, would earn a piece of the prize pool. Jonathan Marcu and Matthew Vitale earned the lion's share of a deal that ended the event, with the official results listed below:
- Jonathan Marcu (Boca Raton, FL) $4,904
- Matthew Vitale (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $4,463
- Marlon Nugara (Lauderhill, FL) $2,755
- Robert Kessler (Parkland, FL) $2,561
- Michael Zelen (New York, NY) $2,251
- William Napier (Hollywood, FL) $1,210
- Dennis Gilman (Pompano Beach, FL) $1,008
- Evseev Igor (Hallandale Beach, FL) $1,008
