Saturday, March 26th: Players Trying To Make A Run At Danilo Parada, With A Limited Amount Of Tournaments Remaining In March

ICYMI: Even though the window is closing on the month of March, players are still giving maximum effort to catch Danilo Parada on the Player of the Month leaderboard.  Last night's $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) attracted a total of (52) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $6,344.  A total of seven players were scheduled to reach the money, with the action playing down to a three-handed final table.  A chop was then agreed upon, with Michael Stewartson (Boynton Beach) taking home first place money.  Pedro Palacio and Anderson Patino earned leaderboard points for the second night in a row, with the official results listed below:
  1. Michael Stewartson (Boynton Beach, FL) $1,683
  2. Pedro Palacio (Coconut Creek, FL) $1,582
  3. Anderson Patino (Miami, FL) $1,334
  4. Robert Kessler (Parkland, FL) $603
  5. Dessiree Bennett (Homestead, FL) $476
  6. Tyler Gray (Bradenton, FL) $381
  7. Nicholas Bennett (Homestead, FL) $285

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event. Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 9:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 9:00am-9:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 9:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).
