Friday, December 21st: Raymond Millard Goes "Back-To-Back," Survivor Returns, And Some January Announcements Around The Corner

ICYMI: Thursday's tournament schedule started at 11:00am, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which boasted a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  After eight levels of open registration, the field closed with (33) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $3,201.  Four players were scheduled to reach the money, but things never reached that point, as players agreed to a deal on the money bubble.  A day after topping Wednesday's $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor," Raymond Millard (Davie, FL) topped the payouts once again ($960).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Raymond Millard (Davie, FL) $980
  2. Leonard Feldman (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $762
  3. Joseph Mancuso (Deerfield Beach, FL) $520
  4. Emen Sons (Boynton Beach, FL) $475
  5. Phillip Consolo (Aventura, FL) $464
Last night's tournament (6:00pm) was a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" event, which attracted a field of (22) entries.  The official prize pool of $1,694 was scheduled to be spread across three pay spots, with players agreeing to a chop once the money bubble burst.  Official results of the tournament are listed below:
  1. Michele Ponticorvo (Virginia Gardens, FL) $565
  2. Daniel Doherty (Huntersville, NC) $565
  3. Maury Halperin (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) $564
Tournaments: With the recent popularity of the "survivor" format tournaments, a new installment has been added to the recurring schedule for December.  Friday's tournament action kicks off at 11:00am, with a $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD), which will see every 1 in 10 entries earn a $500 pay spot.  The tournament is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  This event should be very popular with players, considering the small investment...and large return.

The evening tournament (6:00pm) is an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which carries a $3,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to add-on, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am (Friday into Saturday), the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
