Cory Williams (Alva, FL) only has five big blinds when he was all-in, and would be crushed when the cards were turned over.

Cory Williams was the shortest stack at the final table, down to his last five big blinds, and looking for a spot to double.  Cory Ferguson, who had just doubled through Stephen Bristow, opened the pot for a raise to 190,000.  William's then three-bet shoved for 340,000, with action folding back around to Ferguson, who made the call.  Williams was in rough shape, as his 5♠ 5♣ was dominated by Ferguson's Q♠ Q♣, with the runout that followed offering no help.  Williams earns $2,045 for his ninth place finish, and grabs his first recorded result since September of last year.

$200 NLH $100,000 GTD (Day 2): Andre Bryan Leaves The Final Table In A Flash, Collects 10th Place Money ($1,690)

$200 No Limit Hold'em

Andre Bryan (Miami, FL) came to the final table as the short stack, and on the very first final table hand dealt, he would be eliminated from play.  Bryan would earn $1,690 for his 10th place finish, adding to his already impressive tournament resume.  Unfortunately, the speed of Bryan's departure did not allow for a parting photograph, but we will try and find one from the archives to use in his absence.

$200 NLH $100,000 GTD (Day 2): Stanley Aufseeser's Elimination In 11th Place ($1,690), Sees The Final Redraw Of The Day

$100,000 Guaranteed
Level 28 (Blinds 30,000/60,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 684
Players Remaining: 10

Stanley Aufseeser has seen some recent success in events here at the Isle Poker Room, but just chose a poor time to take a stand against the chip leader.

Stanley Aufseeser called a button raise from Stephen Bristow, and the two would see a flop of 9♠ 7 7.  With two of the larger stacks remaining, it was pretty shocking to see Aufseeser check-shove, after Bristow continued on the flop.  Bristow tabled A♠ A♣ and verbalized a call, well ahead of Stanley's A 9. The turn and river would run out clean for Bristow, who would eliminate Aufseeser, and heads to the final table as the overwhelming chip leader.

Stephen Bristow - 4,800,000 (80bb)

$200 NLH $100,000 GTD (Day 2): Claudio Kilili's Elimination In 12th Place ($1,690), Now On The Final Table Bubble

$100,000 Guaranteed
Level 28 (Blinds 30,000/60,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 684
Players Remaining: 10

After Claudio Kalili opened from UTG to 120,000, action would fold around to Gus Vazquez, who was in the big blind.  Vazquez announced that he was all-in, and with Kalili only having seven big blinds behind, he would make the call:

Kalili: K♠ Q♣
Vazquez: J♠ J

Runout: J♠ 6 2 8 Q

Vazquez smashed the flop, leaving Kalili hoping for running cards to make a straight.  The turn would leave Kalili drawing dead, and the field would be left with eleven players.  After the next elimination, the clock will be paused, and players will redraw for their final table seats.

Gus Vazquez - 2,200,000 (36bb)

It's no wonder why Herman Alter (Miami, FL) is all smiles, as he leads the Day 2 field with over 1,200,000.

We have our first Day 2 player to eclipse the million chip mark, as Herman Alter (Miami, FL) is currently sitting on 1,200,000.  Alter is experiencing the ride of a lifetime, as this marks his first ever cash in a multi-flight tournament.  His only four recorded results were from recurring events here at the Isle Poker Room, with two of those final table finishes, including one tournament win. Herman's total tournament earnings currently sit at $4,250, with his largest cash coming in June of last year ($2,800). A fifth place finish in this tournament would actually eclipse his lifetime earnings, and if Herman continues the trend he's on, that could become a reality.

Cory Williams (Alva, FL) quickly became everyone's favorite player, as he sent the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) field into the money.

The hand-for hand play lasted only five hands, as the bubble elimination occurred on Table 2.  After Mitchell Tabasky opened from middle position (to 25,000), action folded around to Cory Williams, who called out of the big blind.  The two would see a flop of K 8 10, with Williams checking the action over to Tabasky.  With just over ten big blinds behind, Tabasky announced himself all-in, with Cory quickly making the call:

Tabasky: AK♠ (top pair with ace-high flush draw)
Williams: 8♠ 8♣ (bottom set)

Turn: 2
River: A♣

The flop was surely an action one for those two hands, as neither play was going to release on the flop.  Tabasky was searching for a heart on the turn or river, or running cards to a full house, but nothing would amount for Mitchell.  He'd become the tournament's "bubble boy," the last player to leave the tournament  area without money this afternoon.

Cory Williams - 370,000 (46bb)

$200 NLH $100,000 GTD (Day 2): Chad Millward Eliminates Scott Levitt Short Of The Money, As Bubble Looms

Chad Millward (Boca Raton, FL) may have lost a pot to Scott Levitt to begin the day, but has since recouped those chips...plus a little more.

After getting involved in a pot early in Day 2 play, Chad Millward (Boca Raton, FL) and Scott Levitt found themselves tangling just a few minutes ago.  Millward opened pre-flop with A♠ A♣, and would be called by Levitt, who was holding K♠ J♠.  The flop would come out king-high, with Levitt flatting Millward's continuation bet.  After a second wheel card fell on the river, Chad would push forward a bet of 74,000, which was about half of what Levitt had remaining.  Scott deciding to raise all-in, causing Millward to pause for a moment, but he eventually decided to call.  The pocket aces would hold up on the river, eliminating Levitt from play, and helping Chad chip up to over 575,000.

Chad Millward - 578,000 (72bb)

The field is now just a handful of eliminations from the money, with hand-for-hand beginning when (63) players remain.

Michael Corbett (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) has had numerous works published, including some pieces on the PokerNews player's blog.

Michael Corbett (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) is a published author, who is currently working on a book about poker.  Much of the subject matter is about tournament poker, focusing specifically on the middle stages of events, leading into the money bubble and what follows.  Corbett is looking to practice what he's about put on paper, starting the day with 155,000.  He's since dropped from that number, and is trying to manage a stack that's below twenty big blinds.  For now, he's going to keep a few pages blank in the draft, hopefully filling them in with a success story from today.

Moses Morales (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) and Stanley Aufseeser were the only players to bag a stack over 400,000, which sees them returning to play with over (100) big blinds.

Since Flight 1D ended with 24:57 remaining in Level 16 (as they reached the 10% mark), the tournament clock was rolled back, and that's were Day 2 began.  What was left of Level 16 just finished up, with the field losing four players, from the (84) that returned.  Moses Morales (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) is in uncharted territory, leading a Day 2 field that's playing for over $20,000 up top.  Morales has just one Hendon Mob result, coming earlier this year, when he ran semi-deep in a Seminole Hard Rock ($130 No Limit Hold'em Big Stack).

An impressive group of players managed to find their way to Day 2 of this event, so it will be interested to see how things unfold.  Live blogged coverage will be offering updates every level, through the tournament's conclusions, including payout results as the occur.
