Sunday, July 10th: Wasserman And Hixson Chop Top Two Spots, With $400 No Limit Hold'em Event Highlighting Sunday's Action

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) got off to a slow-ish start, but there ended up being a steady stream of entries during the two-hour open registration period.  The window closed with an official total of (64) entries, and a prize pool of $5,900.  A total of eight players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a heads-up final table.  Joshua Wasserman and David Hixson agreed to a deal, with the official results listed below:

Tournaments: With the success of Sunday's $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), it was clear that there was a place on the weekly schedule for a larger buy-in event.  That being said, Sunday's in July now offer a $400 No Limit Hold'em event with an improved structure.  The event is structured with 30,000 chip starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the short break that follows.

Those looking to get updates on numbers, can follow the action on the Bravo Poker Live app.  All results from this afternoon's action will be recapped tomorrow on the blog.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.




3:00pm: $400 No Limit Hold'em

  • Players start with 30,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (30) minutes
