ICYMI: With the holiday weekend just hours form arrival, players were focused on Thursday's $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD). The registration window for the event closed with a total of (56) entries, and an official prize pool of $5,096. A total of eight players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table (at which point a deal was agreed to). Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room. The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).
Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.
