The "newly" unveiled Isle Poker "Daily" trophy

Having covered an incredible amount of tournaments in my lifetime, you'd be surprised to know how many chops (or agreements) hit snags for something as simple as the trophy.  The trophy seems to be the thing people really want to take home from the event.  Less than (24) hours ago we watched as Edward Novak won the Isle Poker Open Main Event, and what was he amped up the most about?  The trophy..."I just got myself a poker trophy, how great is that," Novak said to his buddies on the rail.

This same trophy you see pictured will be awarded to winners of select tournaments this month, which also happen to be the same tournaments like will have blog coverage.  We will be re-posting a schedule of those "select tournaments" here on the blog for players to schedule ahead.

"Daily" Tuesday: Notables In The Field, New Faces As Well

"Daily Tuesday" $40 No Limit Hold'em
$10,000 Guarantee
Level 2 (Blinds 75/150)
Total Entries: 90

Towards the end of the Isle Poker Open, many of the players who frequented the event became names we began to remember.  While there are a handful of those notables in the field, there are so many new faces that will become "notables" as the event unfolds.  Some of those that we know in the field include Hector and Nestor Caraballo, twin brothers that were featured during Event #1 of the Isle Poker Open.  Neither of the brothers cashed the tournament, but their resumes are littered with deep runs and results from this poker room.

Also spotted at one of the tournament tables was David Albertson (Coral Springs, FL), our third place finisher from Event #1.  Albertson took home $9,282 for the final table finish, and also ended up cashing in Event #6 ($130 No Limit Hold'em) for $455 (14th Place).  Some other names we know in the field include:

Dave Henry
Irwin Block
Danielle Bastarache
Michael Gutterman
Philip Phillips
David Walker

"Daily" Tuesday: The Glue That Holds The Room Together

"Daily Tuesday" $40 No Limit Hold'em
$10,000 Guarantee
Level 1 (Blinds 25/50)
Total Entries: 75

The 2016 Isle Poker Open may be over, but the blog coverage is going to stick around for another day (as well as select events this month).  While the seasonal series that are run four times each year are considered the "highlights" of the tournament schedule, it's the "daily" schedule that appeals to most all of the recreational players.  Those are the players that will now have the opportunity to experience "making it to the blog."

Players in this event are sitting down with 12,000 starting stacks, and playing levels lasting (20) minutes throughout.  Registration is open until the conclusion of Level 8, at which point, those remaining will have the option of getting an "add-on" of 8,000 chips for $20.  As mentioned earlier, this $10,000 guaranteed tournament will see it's winner take home a trophy as well...never a bad addition to the top place prize money (which should be close to $2,750).

"Daily" Tuesday: 6:00pm Train To Valuetown

"Daily Tuesday" $40 No Limit Hold'em
$10,000 Guarantee
Level 1 (Blinds 25/50)
Total Entries: N/A

In just a few hours, one of the best value tournaments in the poker room kicks off.  In what is going to be a great month of "new" daily tournaments, this $40 buy-in event offers a $10,000 guarantee!!  This is a one-day event, and will also offer a trophy to the eventual winner.  As mentioned during our 2016 Isle Poker Open coverage, the results of these "daily" tournaments will also be posted on Hendon Mob.

Today's event will also have blog coverage, beginning a short time after the cards are in the air:
