ICYMI: Thursday's $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD) kicked off a new weekend of tournament action, with the field eclipsing the century mark yet again. Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (105) entries, and an official prize pool of $9,555 (bounty pool of $5,250). A total of (14) players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing through the money bubble, and down to the point that five players remained. Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room. The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.
