Tournaments: The $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($10,000 GTD) has turned into one of the premier weekly tournaments, in our South Florida poker community. Last night's installment saw a total of (118) entries, which equated to a prize pool of $24,780. With first place scheduled to take home close to $10,000, the idea of a chop quickly becomes a popular subject at this final tables (especially if stacks are similar). Thomas Mucci (Boca Raton, FL) topped a deal, that saw him earn $4,696, from the original $250 investment. Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
