Tuesday, March 8th: Laufer Tops "Final Table Finish" Six-Way Chop, Finds Himself In Top Three Of March's Rankings

ICYMI: There is no denying the popularity of Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), with last night's installment cruising past the posted guarantee.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (126) entries, equating to an official prize pool of $26,208.  The evening's action played down to a six-handed final table, at which point a chop was agreed to.  Michael Laufer took home first place money in the deal, in addition to 22.22 leaderboard points.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).  




Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
