ICYMI: Thursday's $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD) was the turn towards the homestretch, as it signified the final four events of the month. Players that have their eyes focused on the top prize for the leaderboard, made sure they were in attendance. Registration for the tournament closed with (126) entries, and an official prize pool of $8,190 (and a $6,300 bounty pool). A total of (16) players were scheduled to see a return on investment, with action playing down to a four-handed final table. At that point, the remaining players decided to chop, with Joseph Lamberta (Bartlett, IL) taking home first place money. Jonathan Gordon not only got second place money, but made a rapid rise up the leaderboard, after securing 19.92 points.
