Tuesday, March 22nd: Daniel Bueno Tops "Final Table Finish," But It's Danilo Parada Still Pacing The Player Of The Month Field

ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) continues to be one of the most popular events on the schedule, offering up payouts that are unlike any recurring tournament in the area.  Last night's event attracted a total of (118) entries, which helped the official prize pool reach $24,544 (well more than the posted guarantee).  With the final table finish format, the top nine spots were scheduled to take home healthy payouts.  Action played down to a three-handed final table, at which point a deal was agreed to, seeing Daniel Bueno (Sunrise, FL) take home first place money.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
  1. Daniel Bueno (Sunrise, FL) $7,280
  2. Darkhan Botabayev (Sunny Isle, FL) $5,234
  3. Lawrence Klur (Boynton Beach, FL) $4,176
  4. Nancy Birnbaum (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,718
  5. John Crehan (Franklin Square, NY) $1,718
  6. Danilo Parada (Oakland Park, FL) $1,227

  9. Steve Smith (West Palm Beach, FL) $982

Tournaments: The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
