The table was set, after the field grew to (195) entries, which was one of the largest we've seen since this event's introduction to the schedule. With the $40,560 prize pool to be spread across the final table, payouts were drawing a lot of attention, once they were posted for players to see. First place was scheduled to take home $16,223, and a healthy amount of leaderboard points. Action played through the money bubble, with no sign of a chop in sight. As the poker room's closing time grew closer, the final two players were left with a decision...agree to a chop, or return later in the evening (7:00pm) to wrap up the tournament. They eventually chose to bag, and play until an outright winner was determined. Nathan Schwartz ended up coming out on top, which could be one of the most significant tournament wins of his lifetime...as he not only earned over $16,000, but 78.00 leaderboard points!!!! That's .45 points more than Nigel Murray, and enough to take over the top spot on the leaderboard (with no events remaining)! Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
