ICYMI: One aspect of Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) that makes it so attractive, is the format of the payouts. With 40% of the prize pool scheduled to go to the first place finisher, it's a surprise that we see so many of the events conclude in a chop. Last night's installment was a great example of how helpful this tournament could be, for someone looking to inject themselves into the Player of the Month race:
- Zaki Lichaa (Pompano Beach, FL) $10,316
- Michael Ladda (Boynton Beach, FL) $4,643
- Ian Cohen (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $2,579
- David Albertson (Coral Springs, FL) $1,805
- Jacobo Milhem (Miami, FL) $1,805
- James Majesty (Lauderdale Lakes, FL) $1,290
- Alfredo Guevara (Hialeah, FL) $1,290
- Richard Maltzman (Lake Worth, FL) $1,032
- Robert Williams (Miami, FL) $1,032
Tournaments: The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family. The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout. Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
