Friday, September 3rd: Jose Del Cid Gets Off To A Quick Start, $1,000 "Kickstarter" Means Morning Action!!!

ICYMI: September tournaments offer players another opportunity to win a WSOP Main Event seat, as the leaderboard rankings reset, and we focus on a new race.  The action kicked off last night, with the $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD).  Registration for the event closed with a total of (119) entries, and an official prize pool of $10,829.  Once the payouts were posted, players learned that a total of (15) would reach the money, and earn those ever-valuable leaderboard points as well.  Action continued through the money bubble, eventually pausing with three players remaining at the final table.  A deal was eventually agreed upon, with Jose Del Cid (Ft. Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room.  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).

Promotions:
From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 10:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 10:00am-10:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 10:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).
