Tournaments: The week's tournament action begins (at 12:00pm) with Day 2 of the $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD). There is one structural transition to take note of, as the levels for Day 2 will be (30) minutes, through the conclusion of the tournament.
Two hours after Day 2 resume (2:00pm), the recurring tournament schedule returns, with a $130 No Limit Hold'em ($2,500 GTD) event. The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. This event should attract a nice sized field, with players that bust Day 2 jumping right back into action.
At 6:00pm, the cards will get in the air for a $90 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 units, levels that last (20) minutes, and has registration that is open through Level 8. Prior to the first hand, players have the option to take a $10 add-on.
Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes. During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.
It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand. The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
There is an addition to the day's promotions, with the "Twilight Full House" promo beginning at 6:00pm. The promotion sees (30) total prize awarded, with the breakdown as such: the first (15) full houses (that are tens full or better) will be awarded $50, while the first (15) quads or better will be awarded $150. In order for hands to qualify for the promotional prize, they must be made using both hole cards (in Omaha, players must flop the qualifying high hand to be eligible).
From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
