Thursday, September 26th: "Chip Buster" Takes Center Stage, As Second Pair Of Starting Flights Headline Schedule

ICYMI: Wednesday started the $175 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD), which is the headlining tournament of September.  The action got started at 10:00am (take note of the different starting time than normal), and after eight levels of open registration, Flight 1A would close with a total of (40) entries.  After sixteen levels were played, (8) players remained to bag chips, packing away their stacks for Monday's Day 2.  Official chip counts from Flight 1A are listed below:

The section flight of the "Chip Buster" began at 5:00pm (also a different starting time), and ended up attracted a total of (37) entries.  Flight 1B would also reach the end of Level 16, with the following (6) players bagging chips for Day 2:

Tournaments: The $175 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD) continues today, with the second pair of starting flights.  There is an 10:00am flight (Flight 1C), and 5:00pm flight (Flight 1C), with a satellite sandwiched in between.  The "Chip Buster" is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, has (30) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Players that bag chips in one of the ten starting flights (Wednesday-Sunday), will return on Monday afternoon (12:00pm), for Day 2 action.  The above mentioned satellite has a $45 buy-in, and gets underway at 2:00pm (for the next five days).

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
