Tuesday, December 7th: Eric "Pools" Siegel Tops Six-Way Monday Night Chop, Tuesday's Offers Another "Final Table Finish"

ICYMI: On most nights of the week, players will have a choice of tournaments to play, across the numerous options in this geographic region.  It doesn't happen often, but there are occasions where one particular event stands far and above better than the others, and players continue to flock to that tournament.  That's what we've seen with Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) "Final Table Finish," as it continues to be the choice by players.  Last night's installment attracted a total of (119) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $24,752, scheduled to be paid out across the top nine finishers.  After three in-the-money eliminations, a deal was agreed to, which saw Eric Siegel (Melville, NY) take home first place money in the chop.  Official results from the event are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: The $160 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family (and receives a boosted guarantee).  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).  Tuesday evening tournament are the "closing" event of each week, with the official weekly leaderboard results finalized at the tournament's conclusion.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm: $160 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
