Friday, December 20th: It's Friday...Which Means The Return Of $500 High Hands (6:00PM-Midnight)!!!

ICYMI: There was only one tournament on Thursday's recurring tournament schedule, but it was the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($3,000 GTD), a player favorite.  Registration for the tournament closed with (43) entries, which helped cruise past the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reached $4,171.  A total of six players were scheduled to reach the money, with the action playing down to the point where two remained.  A heads-up deal was then agreed to, with the official results from the tournament listed below:
  1. Anthony Casas (Miami, FL) $1,386
  2. John Malczan (Boca Raton, FL) $1,200
  3. Joakim Dag (Pompano Beach, FL) $584
  4. Scott Bailey (Loxahatchee, FL) $417
  5. Jimmie Demetro (Bridgeport, CT) $334
  6. Reams Williams (Castle Rock, CO) $250
Tournaments: Today's schedule focuses on the $80 No Limit Hold'em "Sit-N-Go" once again.  These single-table tournaments are paying out two spots, with the first and second place finishers earning $350 (adding an element of "survivor" to the proceedings).  Players that are interested in these "Sit-N-Gos" can put their name on the list (at the brush stand), and once ten names are collected, the tournament will begin.

Promotions: With the calendar changing over to December, there are some changes in promotions to take note of.  Every day, from 9:00am through 12:00pm, the high hands will be $100 every (10) minutes.  The "turbo" high hands will have rollovers, meaning we will see some healthy payouts over the course of the three hour period.  Qualifying high hands can be made using one or two cards, and will receive the same $100 payout (or whatever the rollover amount is for the period).

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 12:00pm-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands grow even larger, as $500 will be awarded every (30) minutes.  The winning high hands made with one card (during the 6:00pm-midnight period) will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $50 every (30) minutes.

All Day: $80 No Limit Hold'em "Sit-N-Go" (Top 2 Spots Win $350)
