Monday, October 28th: Sit-N-Gos Gaining Steam, Getting The Week Started Off Strong

ICYMI: There was only one event on yesterday's schedule, a $110 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into the "Sexton On The Beach" tournament (which is during the upcoming Deepstack Charity Classic Tour.  Registration for the satellite closed with (13) entries, and with the "Sexton" tournament carrying a $490 buy-in, it meant that two players would walk away with a seat (and a third place would earn a cash prize).  Official results from the satellite are listed below:
  1. Leonard Feldman ("Sexton On The Beach" Entry)
  2. Jay Convente ("Sexton On The Beach Entry" Entry)
  3. Scott Hart ($294)
Tournaments: Mondays are going to be known for the return of "Sit-N-Gos," one of the most popular tournament formats.  From the moment the doors open, a list will start for the $150 buy-in sit-n-go, and will start once (10) players are on the list.  The single table tournament will pay three spots ($750 to first, $420 to second, and $200 to third).  The structure is available in the poker room, upon request.

Promotions: The promotional calendar for Monday is focused strictly on high hands, which run from the moment the poker room opens (9:00am), to the moment the doors shut (3:00am).  The period from 9:00am-12:00am (midnight), will see $300 high hands awarded, every (30) minutes (using both hole cards).  If the high hand is made using one card, $150 will be awarded to that player (pending the hand is the qualifying winner).

From 12:00am-3:00am, a $100 high hand will be awarded every (60) minutes (top of the hour).
