ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) provided players another opportunity to record a tournament result, and improve their standing on the Player of the Month leaderboard. Registration for last night's event closed with a total of (100) entries, which was the exact number needed to surpass the posted guarantee. Nine players were scheduled to reach the money (as per the final table finish format), with action playing through the money bubble, and down to a three-handed final table. The final three players agreed to a deal, with Anton Kutsenko (Brooklyn, NY) taking home first place money. Tournaments: Tuesday's tournament schedule now boasts the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD)...a new event that replaces the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD). The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). At the end of registration, players will have the opportunity to add-on for $40 (receiving an additional 15,000 chips).
Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 12:00pm, there is a new promotion in June, offering boosted Early Bird High Hands. The high hand at the top of the hour (:00) will be awarded $599, while the high hands at the bottom of the hour (:30) will be awarded $300. From 12:00pm until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
