ICYMI: The chips were shuffling, and the cards were flying, as players enjoyed the action of last night's $150 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD). It's pretty hard not to enjoy an event that attracts (124) entries, and just falls short of tripling the guaranteed number ($14,260). Sixteen players enjoyed the tournament that much more, as that was the number scheduled to cash in the tournament. Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible "re-introduction" of the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room. The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).
Promotions: With the $300 high hand promotion running Sunday through Thursday, there is a short "break" on Friday and Saturday. That being said, today's high hand promotion is our "standard," which means $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. Qualifying high hands must be aces-full or better, using both hole cards, as one-card high hand no longer qualify.
