Sunday, March 14th: Jeremy Ehrke Tops Four-Way Deal In Saturday's $5,000 GTD, "Monster Stack" Offering Monster Payouts!
ICYMI: In the ever shifted landscape that is the Isle Casino Pompano Park Daily Tournament Power Rankings, Saturday's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) is battling for the top spot. After record-breaking performances the past two weeks, the event saw a slight dip in total entries, but the (136) entry field was nothing to glass over. Seventeen players were scheduled to earn a piece of the $10,200 prize pool, and their share of leaderboard points. The night's action played down to four-handed play, at which point a deal was agreed to, with Jeremy Ehrke (Pompano Beach, FL) taking home first place money ($2,266). Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected. The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.
3:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)
- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
