Sunday, April 9th: $10,000 GTD "Daily" And "Turbo High Hands," A Solid Sunday At The Isle Poker Room

ICYMI: The first of two tournaments to recap began yesterday at 11:00am ($100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo" w/ $25 Bounties $3,000 GTD).  A total of (33) entries made up the field, with an official prize pool of $2,175 ($825 bounty pool).  There were four spots reaching the money in the tournament, and once the field reached that point, a deal was made between the remaining players:

  1. Linzell Borders (Tamarac, FL) $772
  2. Scott Krautman (Boca Raton, FL) $772
  3. Sara Azmi (Aventura, FL) $370
  4. Griffin Rosen (Bridgewater, NJ) $261
The "headlining" event was the evening tournament, a $120 No Limit Hold'em $15,000 GTD event that got underway at 6:00pm.  The field was made up of (236) entries, which ended up crushing the guarantee, and gave players a prize pool of $21,240 to compete for.  (27) spots were getting paid in the tournament, with a min-cash worth $191, and just under $6,000 for the win ($5,949)!!  Robert McManus was the first player to get paid once the money bubble burst (27th Place - $191), and was followed by Errol Gunter (22nd Place - $191), Robert Transue (20th Place - $191), and Joshua Tabraue (13th Place - $255).  The final table was reached shortly after midnight, and after the eliminations of Adam Beyrer in 10th place ($297), Gary Fitzgerald in 9th place ($382), and Ali Khalil in 8th place ($531)...the discussion of a deal began.  With the amount remaining in the prize pool, each of the remaining seven players were able to walk away with over $1,400 each.  The final results of the chop were as followed:
  1. Ilan Hadida (Boca Raton, FL) $3,579
  2. Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) $2,781
  3. Mitchell Silver (Dania Beach, FL) $2,601
