Sunday, February 20th: Tournaments Continuing To Exceed Expectations, With The $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) Returning

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) continued the trend of successful events (post-WSOP Circuit), confirming that the earlier overlay was just a hangover.  The tournament's registration closed with a total of (92) players, which equated to an official prize pool of $9,200.  Of the entries, a total of twelve players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  The remaining players agreed to a deal, with Jeffrey Johnson (Las Vegas, NV) taking home first place money.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: At 3:00pm, the cards get in the air for our $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), an event that is sure to attract some South Florida's best tournament players.  The event's structure will see players sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000, and playing (25) minute levels.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the short break that follows.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

3:00pm: $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (25) minutes
