ICYMI: Thursday's $200 No Limit Hold'em ($15,000 GTD) is becoming a focus for all tournament players that frequent the Isle Casino Pompano Park, as the value of double leaderboard points rises. We've seen Zaki Lichaa distance himself from his competitors, a good reason why being those double points (and his win in last Thursday's event). Last night was another great example, as Ian Cohen takes first place in a hesds-up deal, and is now in direct contention for the monthly title (vaulted to third place on the leaderboard). The tournament saw registration close with (76) entries, and an official prize pool of $16,060 (scheduled to be paid out across ten spots). Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
- Ian Cohen (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $4,716
- Peter Cleven (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $3,876
- Erik Bartels (Boca Raton, FL) $1,959
- Manuel Jo (Miami, FL) $1,325
- Konstantin Tourevski (Port Washington, NY) $1,004
- Nicholas Velentzas (Pompano Beach, FL) $803
- Scott Greenberg (Delray Beach, FL) $707
- Daniel Miller (Pompano Beach, FL) $642
- Alexander Obed (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $546
- Ryan Estrada (Sunrise, FL) $482
Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room. The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000.
