Sunday, December 6th: $3,000 Guaranteed Afternoon Tournament, And $300 High Hands Return!!!

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament action was headlined by a $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD), and after so much recent success, did not disappoint.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (91) entries, and an official prize pool of $6,825 (more than doubling the posted guarantee).  Just like last night's event, a total of (11) players were scheduled to get paid, with payouts offering up great value.  The tournament ended in a five-way chop, with Jairo Velasquez taking home first place money in the deal.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Sunday's tournament just got a little better, as the $130 No Limit Hold'em event adds a $3,000 guarantee!!! Things get underway at 3:00pm, and with this addition of posted money, today's crowd should be a strong one.  The event is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).

Promotions: The poker room doors open at 11:00am, with the high hand being awarded every (30) minutes.  The qualifying high hand for each half-hour will be awarded $100, with the promotion transitioning at 2:00pm.  From 2:00pm to 10:00pm, the high hand grows to $300, also awarded every (30) minutes (rollovers do not apply).

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
