Saturday, September 10th: Friday's Tournament Ends In Four-Way Deal, Saturday Getting A "Kickstart" As We Open The Doors!!

ICYMI: Friday's $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD) has become one of the more popular events on the recurring tournament schedule, as it provides an accessible buy-in for all players.  The cards were in the air at 6:00pm, with the tournament's field growing to (103) entries (which equated to an official prize pool of $7,345).  A total of thirteen players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a four-handed final table.  A deal was then agreed upon, with Tyler Gray (Bradenton, FL) taking home first place money (and the additional leaderboard points that came along with it).  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
  1. Tyler Gray (Bradenton, FL) $1,506
  2. John Schoffstall (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,458

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 15,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event. Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 9:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 9:00am-9:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 9:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).
