Tuesday, November 14th: Recapping Monday's Action, As Another "Tournament Tuesday" Rolls On

ICYMI: Monday's tournament action started at 11:00am, with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Deepstack Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD).  The field would be comprised of (33) entries, and after the bounties were included into the prize pool, the official number closed at $2,726.  In what's become a rare occurrence, the tournament played down to a winner, with Michele Gariepy (Okeechobee, FL) besting Brian Levine to win the event (worth $780).

The evening tournament (6:00pm) was a $130 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $20,0000 guaranteed prize pool.  A total of (182) entries would make up the field, with the $20,000 prize pool broken down into (23) pay spots.  Play would continue at a fairly rapid pace after the bursting of the money bubble, and saw no pauses as the final table was reached.  The payouts up top, along with the discrepancies in chips at the final table, saw action continuing without a deal.  It wasn't until three-handed play was reached, that the dealmaking began, with Michael Sunshine (Tamarac, FL) heading a chop with Steve Zukowski and Mark Bernstein.

Tournaments:  Today's afternoon event (11:00am) is the $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD), a tournament that's structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, and levels of (25) minutes.

The evening tournament brings back the larger guarantee, with the cards getting in the air for the $60 No Limit Hold'em ($8,000 GTD) at 6:00pm.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.  There is also an optional add-on at the end of registration (after Level 8), with players seeing a return of 10,000 units for $20 (with 100% of the add-on money going towards the prize pool.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that since November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

11:00am - $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)

- Players start with 25,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Level will last (20) minutes throughout the event

6:00pm - $60 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 14,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Levels are (20) minutes in length
- Optional add-on at the end of Level 8 ($20 for 10,000 units, 100% goes towards the prize pool)
- All late registrants and re-entries will receive a full stack
