Sunday, November 21st: Sunday Tournament Canceled, As The Poker Room Focuses On $1,000 "Highest Hand" Promotion (1:00PM-9:00PM)!!!

ICYMI: Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) saw increased attendance, as players flocked to the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room, in hopes of earning a piece of the prize pool.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (83) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $8,300.  A total of (11) players were scheduled to see a return on investment, with action playing down to a three-handed final table.  A deal was then agreed to, with Ryan Detombeur walking away with first place money ($2,152).  Pedro Palacio was second in the deal, earning just a few dollars less, and 21.43 leaderboard points (helping his cause, towards becoming the first ever repeat Player of the Month winner).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Today's schedule $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) is canceled, as the poker room tables are expected to be full of cash game players (with today's $1,000 "Highest Hand Promotion").

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

SUNDAY BONUS PROMOTION!! From 1:00pm-9:00pm, in addition to the standard $300 high hand, there will be the $1,000 "Highest Hand" promotion.  The highest qualifying high hand for each two-hour period, will win $1,000, in addition to the $300 prize won for the (30) minute high hand period.
