ICYMI: At 12:00pm yesterday afternoon, (114) players returned for Day 2 of Event #1 ($200 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD). From that number, (90) players would reach the money, with the money bubble bursting just over an hour into the day. Bruce Kahn and Stanton Drazen were eliminated on the same hand (during hand-for-hand play), meaning they would split 90th place money (with Kahn getting $205, and Drazen $200).
From that point on, we saw players heading to the payout podium at a rapid pace, with the final table reached shortly before 8:00pm. Between the bubble bursting, and the final table, we saw numerous Isle Poker notables record results for their resumes. Former "November Niner" Neil Bluemenfield finished in 83rd place ($405), Danielle Bastarache followed shortly thereafter in 77th place ($450), Pedro Palacio bowed out in 54th place ($595), Andrew Daire (who was the short stack to begin Day 2) exited in 35th place ($770), with satellite winner JC Madrid just falling short of the final table in 14th place ($1,955).
The final table lineup would feature a lot of potential storylines, but none larger than that of Matthew Bretzfield (Kings Park, NY) reach that point. His name was mentioned all through coverage of the event, and he must of felt the responsibility to perform, as he needed up taking first place (in a seven-way chop). Official details from the final table are listed below:

- Danny Blackburn (Deerfield Beach, FL) $14,345

Just as Event #1 was winding down, players were preparing for Event #2, which was a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD). The tournament would end up attracting (44) entries, and saw registration close with an official prize pool of $3,900 (an $1,100 bounty pool). Of the players that remaining after Level 10, (6) were schedule to reach the money. There would be no deal-making though, as action played down an outright winner, with Jeffrey Kahn (Aventura, FL) besting Scott Bailey (Loxahatchee, FL) during heads up play. Official results from the tournament are posted below:
- Jeffrey Kahn (Aventura, FL) $1,521
- Scott Bailey (Loxahatchee, FL) $897

- Anthony Vulpis (Pompano Beach, FL) $390
