The cards got in the air at 6:00pm, and within just a few hours, the posted guarantee was eclipsed. Registration closed with a total of (86) entries in the field, equating to an overall prize pool of $9,890. A total of eleven players were schedule to reach the money, with the money bubble bursting shortly at 11:00pm. Play continued until the final table was three-handed, at which point a deal with made, with Brian Dunn (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) taking home first place money (worth $3,189). Tournaments: The tournament action continues this evening, with the ever-popular $1300 No Limit Hold’em ($3,000 GTD). The structures sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000 units, playing levels that are (20) minutes, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows). The guarantee has been doubled each of the last two weeks, with tonight's tournament expected to do the same.
Promotions: Saturday's high hand promotion stays the same from open to close...awarded $100 every (30) minutes, to the qualifying high hand (must be aces-full or better). In order to make a qualifying high hand, players must use both hole cards, as one-card high hands are no longer eligible.
