Event 9 (Day 2): 11th Place - Christman ($3,764)

Event 9 ($300 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 Guarantee)
Level 29 (Blinds 40,000/80,000/10,000)
Total Entries: 1110
Players Remaining: 10
Chip Average: 2,200,000

Joseph Christman (Pacifica, CA) started Day 2 in the bottom third of the chip counts, with 142,000.  He would be one of the first players of the day to really spin up their stack, and he would really cruise to the final two tables.  Christman falls just short of the final table with his 11th place finishes, and earns himself $3,764 for his efforts.

Event 9 (Day 2): 12th Place - Riley ($3,764)

Event 9 ($300 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 Guarantee)
Level 28 (Blinds 30,000/60,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 1110
Players Remaining: 11
Chip Average: 1,900,000

The recent elimination of Johnny Riley (North Augusta, SC) bring us to the "final table bubble."  Once the final table is reached, we will update you with the new seating assignments and chip counts.

Total Entries: 1110
Players Remaining: 12
Chip Average: 1,700,000

David Wolff (Sarasota, FL) got his last (12) big blinds in over an open from Andre Rakusa, and would be racing once the call was made.  Wolff's 10 10♣ couldn't hold against the A♠ J of Rakusa, and he'd be eliminated in 13th place ($2,520).

Event 9 (Day 2): 14th Place - Rawdin ($2,520)

Bruce Rawdin (Tamarac, FL) got into a huge confrontation with Pedro Palacio just moments ago, as they were all-in pre for close to 1,600,000.  Rawdin unfortunately ran pocket kings into Palacios pocket aces, and while he'd be left with chips after losing the pot, it was only enough to post a big blind.  He was eliminated a few moments later at the hands of Palacio.

Event 9 (Day 2): 15th Place - Burdeen ($2,520)

Event 9 ($300 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 Guarantee)

Level 26 (Blinds 20,000/40,000/4,000)
Total Entries: 1110
Players Remaining: 24
Chip Average: 925,000

Peter Fellows (Pembroke Pines, FL)

Thomas Collazo had held onto a top ten chip stack for most all of the day, and was by far the most active player at Table 1.  After an 100,000 open by Collazo, Fellows three-bet to 425,000, with the rest of the players folding behind.  Collazo then four-bet shoved for just under 900,000, and would be at risk once Fellows called:

Fellows: A K            Collazo: A♠ J♣

Flop: 8♠ A♣ Q
Turn: 2
River: 5♠

Collazo was in rough shape once the cards were turned over, and could not capture the lead after the runout.  Collazo would be eliminated in 25th place, while Fellows assumes the chip lead with over 2,100,000.

Total Entries: 1110
Players Remaining: 26
Chip Average: 853,000

There were a flurry of eliminations right after dinner, but then action slowed down to a crawl for most of Level 24.  We then lost Ryan Bunes after he and Tom Gity got it all-in with similar sized stacks, with Bunes's Q Q losing a race on the river to Gity's A Q (ace on the river).  Ryan Gianquitti busted just moments afterwards, and the field was consolidated to three tables:

Ryan Gianquitti (Lake Worth, FL)

It didn't take long for the chips to start flying once players got back from break, as Ryan Gianquitti (Lake Worth, FL) and Daniel Cruz found themselves with all the chips in the middle pre (Gianquitti having Cruz covered).  Cruz would be racing for his tournament life with J♠ J against Ryan's A K.  The dealer would fan out a flop 10♣ J Q, and although Cruz flopped a set, Gianquitti flopped broadway to take the lead.  The turn and river would be blanks for Cruz, who would collect his things before heading to the podium to collect his cash.

Players are heading on break in just a few minutes, and will be returning to Level 22 and blinds of 8,000/16,000/2,000.  The chip average of 444,000 is just under (30) blinds, so play is still fairly deep across the field.  Heading to break, there are two players that walk away from the table leaving over 1,000,000 in chips at their seat.  Both Luis Gonzalez and Andrew Rakusa have set themselves up for a super deep run in the tournament, this after starting in the bottom third when returning for Day 2.

Efremoff started the day with a top ten chip stack, and has since increased that number steady over the course of play.  Al has over 610,000 in front of him at the moment, and is top five in the current chip counts:

The is scheduled to be a one-day event, and sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 18,000.  Levels will last (30) minutes throughout the tournament, and will only have the scheduled breaks throughout the day (no diner break).  This is a trophy event on the schedule, with results posted shortly after the conclusion of the event.
