Tuesday, October 19th: Eder-Johnson Vaults To Top Of Weekly Leaderboard, With Tonight's $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) Wrapping Up The Weekly Competition

ICYMI: Monday's $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD) was another success, as the official prize pool cruised past the posted guarantee.  At the end of the tournament's registration period, the clock showed a total of (161) entries, and an official prize pool of $33,488.  As always, the payouts would be spread across the final table (nine players), with action pausing after the first in-the-money eliminations.  The remaining seven players then agreed to a deal, with Joseph Eder-Johnson taking home first place money ($6,031).  The official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated weekly and month leaderboard:

Tournaments: The $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament had a very successful first run, and is now a member of the "recurring" tournament family.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and has (20) minute levels throughout.  Registration is open through Level 8, and closes once the first hand of Level 9 is dealt (there is a short break between the two).  Tuesday evening tournament are the "closing" event of each week, with the official weekly leaderboard results finalized at the tournament's conclusion.


Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
