Friday, November 6th: Weekend Gets Off To A Strong Start, With $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) At 6:00PM

ICYMI: Thursday was a day focused on cash games at the Isle Casino Pompano Beach Poker Room, with the numbers continuing to grow as each day passes.  With the doors to the poker room opening in just a few hours, a lot of players are focused on tonight's action...a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament.

Tournaments: The weekend welcomes tournaments back to the schedule, with events hosted on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Tonight's event is the most popular of the three (based on prior numbers), with an impressive turnout expected to the tournament.  The $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm, and offers a very player-friendly structure.  Those in the event will be sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000 units, with (20) minute levels, and late registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  As mentioned yesterday, this tournament attracted (80) entries last week, and should see that number rise this evening.

Promotions: There is a short break from "special" high hand promotions today, with the "standard" high hand awarded over the course of the day (11:00am-3:00am).  What is the "standard" high hand you ask? The qualifying high hand for every (30) minutes will be awarded $100, with said hand having to be made using both hole cards (one card high hands no longer qualify).

We are looking forward to a "special" high hand promotion next week, with $500 high hands on Tuesday (November 10th)!!
