Monday, June 25th: $360 NLH ($50,000 GTD) Ends In Three-Way Deal, As We Return To The Recurring Schedule

ICYMI: Sunday's tournament schedule kicked off at 12:00pm, as (32) players returned for Day 2 of the $360 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  The transition to (40) minute levels, along with super deep stacks, would lead one to believe that things were going to move at a slower pace.  That surely was not the case though, as the action picked up greatly after the money bubble.  Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) sent the field into the money, with a pot that would help propel him to the final table.  As the field continued to shrink, we saw names like Cory Williams, Evan Braunstein, Joseph Marchese, and Tom Gity, all add cashes to their tournament resumes.  The final table would be reached at 5:00pm, with the tournament concluding just an hour later...courtesy of John Magnetta (Boynton Beach, FL).  Magnetta's won two critical pots after being an underdog, leaving the table four-handed, with Jason Prest then eliminated Richard Leger in fourth place.  The final three players would then agreer to a deal, with John Magnetta taking home first place money, just a few dollars more than Frederico Dabus.  Official results from the final table can be found below:

Last night's evening tournament was the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($3,000 GTD), which has been a staple in that time slot for months.  The field would see registration close with (31) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,387 (not including bounties).  Four spots were scheduled to get paid, with action continuing through the money bubble, and playing down to an outright winner.  Nelson Pacheco (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) would be Patricia Basilio (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) during heads-up play, earning $1,074 for the win.  Full results from the event are listed below:

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule begins (at 11:00am) with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasts a $2,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the afternoon.  Registration is open through Level 8, which means players have until just before 2:00pm to join the action.

The evening tournament, which begins at 6:00pm, mirrors the event that came before.  It's an $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,500 GTD) "double," each Monday in the month of May.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
