Wednesday, October 16th: Baumstein And Nomberg Grab Tuesday's Trophies, As We Prepare For The Isle Open Main Event (With Two Mega-Satellites)!!!

ICYMI: Tuesday's Isle Open schedule kicked off at 1:00pm, with Event #4 of the series, a $2,500 No Limit Hold'em "High Roller."  Registration for the tournament would close after nine levels of play, officially attracting a total of (26) entries.  Four places would earn their respective share of the $59,800 prize pool.  After two in-the-money eliminations, a heads-up deal would be struck, making Scott Baumstein (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) the trophy winner (and giving him $22,447).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Scott Baumstein (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $22,447
  2. Jerry Wong (Davie, FL) $20,609
  3. Richard Kirsch (Davie, FL) $10,166
  4. Lawrence Mage (Fort Pierce, FL) $6,578
As the "High Roller" was playing towards the money, Event #5 of the Isle Open began (at 6:00pm), with players coming out strong for the $130 No Limit Hold'em event ($15,000 GTD).  Registration closed with (204) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $20,400.  A total of (26) players made the money, with action playing down to the point where the final table was five-handed.  The remaining handful then agreed to a deal, with the official (final table) results listed below:
  1. Erik Nomberg (Boca Raton, FL) $2,976
  2. Conner Miller (San Jose, CA) $2,868
  3. David Inselberg (Boca Raton, FL) $2,432
  4. Bruce Cline (Deerfield Beach, FL) $2,300
  5. Ido Ashkenazi (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $2,268
  6. Pantelis Hatzkontos (Boca Raton, FL) $814

  8. Elias Nassif (Davie, FL) $598
  9. Carl Pipitone (Jupiter, FL) $502
  10. Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL) $437
Tournaments: With the 2019 Isle Open Main Event beginning tomorrow, today is "satellite day," with two $340 No Limit Hold'em Mega-Satellites on the schedule.  The first mega begins at 11:00am, and guarantees (10) seats into the Main Event.  Of all the satellites that are run during the series, this is by far the most popular, and should end up awarding more seats than the guarantee.

The evening mega, which begins at 6:00pm, guarantees (3) seats into the $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Main Event.  While the guaranteed seats may be lower in the evening, that does not mean the field size will be.  Players are very interested in entering the Isle Open Main Event, and these satellites are some of the best value around!!!!

Promotions: The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands get a little "October boost," as they transition to $500 every (30) minutes.  Players that make the high hand with one card during that period, will be awarded a $250 prize.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
