Sunday, February 27th: Newmark Tops Nine-Way Deal, With $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) Headlining Sunday's Action

ICYMI: After two tournaments that played down to an outright winner, Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) ended in a multi-way chop.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (84) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $8,400.  Of those entries, eleven players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to the final table.  At that point, the remaining players agreed to a nine-way deal, with the official results listed below:

Tournaments: At 3:00pm, the cards get in the air for our $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), an event that is sure to attract some South Florida's best tournament players.  The event's structure will see players sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000, and playing (25) minute levels.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the short break that follows.

With the way tournaments have been at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, it should come as not surprise, if this event surpasses all expectations.  Those looking to get updates on numbers, can follow the action on the Bravo Poker Live app.  All results from this afternoon's action will be recapped tomorrow on the blog.



Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

3:00pm: $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (25) minutes
