ICYMI: While Saturday's $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) has been one of the most popular events on the schedule, last night's installment saw an intimate-sized field. Registration closed with a total of (41) entries, which equated to a $4,500 prize pool ($500 bonus to chip leader at the end of registration). A total of six players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to a five-handed final table (at which point a deal was agreed to). Tournaments: This afternoon's tournament is getting a little upgrade, as we see the return of a guaranteed prize pool, in addition to the "final table finish" format. The $400 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) event gets underway at 2:00pm, and is structured with 30,000 chip starting stacks. Levels will last (30) minutes throughout the entirety of the event, with registration open through Level 10 (and the break that follows). As mentioned, the "final table finish" is in place, meaning that regardless of where the prize pool closes, it will be paid out to only the top nine spots (those that make the final table). There is a $20,000 guaranteed first place prize, which is sure to attract a special crowd (so get there early)!!!
Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10). From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
