ICYMI: Just over a day after Charlemagne Benjamin was crowned the Weekly Leaderboard winner, the tournament week reset, with the $180 No Limit Hold'em "Double Green Chip Bounty" ($5,000 GTD). The tournament would attract a total of (89) entries, which was significantly more than last week's installment. The $8,099 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across the tournament's top (12) players, with the action playing down to a heads-up chop. Tournaments: With the arrival of the weekend, comes the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)...the tournament that started this incredible tournament resurgence at the Isle Casino Pompano Park poker room. The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 15,000. Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).
In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 10:00am-12:00pm time period. If a player makes a straight flush in the 10:00am-10:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 10:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).
