Friday, January 31st: As We Enter The Weekend, The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) Action Ramps Up!!!

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule hosted the second pair of starting flights for the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD).  Flight 1C got underway at 11:00am, and would see registration close with a total of (76) entries. After fourteen levels of play, the bagging process would begin with (16) players packing up chips for Monday's Day 2, and the official Flight 1C chip counts listed below:

Just as the afternoon action was wrapping up, players began arriving for Flight 1D, which began at 6:00pm.  Registration for the flight would close with (79) total entries, with (15) players succesfully reaching the bagging process.  Official Flight 1D chip counts are listed below:

Tournaments: The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) continues today, with the third pair of starting flights (Flight 1E at 11:00am, and Flight 1F at 6:00pm).  Each of flights carries the same structure, with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8.  Each of the flights are scheduled to conclude after Level 14, with those that remain to bag chips, returning for Monday's Day 2.

There is also a $45 No Limit Hold'em satellite into the event, which begins at 2:00pm.


Promotions: The doors open at 9:00am, with three hours of "Turbo High Hands," as $100 will be awarded every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).  The promotion runs from 9:00am-12:00pm, and has quickly become popular with the players (as the rollovers have seen some high hands reach the $1,000 mark!!!).

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 12:00pm-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands grow even larger, as $500 will be awarded every (30) minutes.  The winning high hands made with one card (during the 6:00pm-midnight period) will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
